How the panels behave against wind and rain?
Sandwich panels are screwed onto a supporting construction. They transmit all of the bearing loads into the construction. On the building, they are exposed to all of the natural atmospheric conditions: rain, wind, snow, temperature. In other words, panels do the work on the construction.
A measure of the resistance of the panels is the diffractions against winds (suction and thrust). There are product specific calculations and examinations prepared to check how the panels behave and how resistant they are. In a result, there are a special load tables prepared to indicate proper beams spans that must be kept for the construction. The stronger the panels and the smaller the span, the more the building is prepared to be safe against extreme wind, snow, rain or sun influence. The relevant tables are available for each and every EuroPanels’ product.
It is also important to know the total loads of the building, even its location in the relation to the directions of the world ( North, East…). Please remember: you must have a construction project to follow and the project must have been prepared by a qualified person and for the particular construction methods and materials.
