What is a difference between PUR and EPS panels?
Main differences concerning PUR-cored and EPS-cored panels are related with core properties.
The PUR core has the following advantages in comparison to EPS:
- continuous core (improvement of esthetics and insulation features);
- significantly improved insulation properties (lower thermal coefficient factor);
- better strength and rigidity;
- much more diversified profilings (available exclusively in EuroPanels’ offer).
Also it is to be emphasized, that EPS roof panels comparing to PUR ones are weaker against high temperatures (sun-burning).
Due to facings expansibility, a single unit length of EPS panels must not exceed 7m. In case of longer panels required it is recommended to join shorter panels on length with the expansion joint between them.
